Abstracts
Abstracts are required for all presentation types (full-length talks, speed talks and posters).
Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and be as informative as possible, including the context, methods, results and implications of the study. Abstracts will be included in the conference material. |
Abstracts for full-length talks, speed talks, and posters should be submitted using the online platform by 30 April 2025.
Spoken presentations
There are two types of spoken presentations, full-length talks and speed talks:
Full-length talks: 15 minutes in total – 12 minutes for the talk with 2.5 minutes for questions (allowing time for change over).
Speed talks: 5 minutes in total – 4 minutes for the talk and 1 minute for questions. Ideal for presenting a project overview or the results from a small project, or for outlining proposed projects.
Spoken Presentations should use MS PowerPoint. If other presentation methods are required, contact the organisers. Presentations can be loaded prior to the conference or on the day – a link will be sent prior to the event for you to upload your talk. Use of personal laptops will not be possible. Presentations will be in English.

Abstract review
An assessment panel will review all abstracts, with notification provided by mid-May, if more full-length spoken presentations are received than can be fitted into the program, some people may be asked to change their talk to a speed talk or poster. If this is the case, plenty of notice will be provided.
