There are four types of registration available to IBRC 2025 attendees:
Student (or unemployed) registration
The student registration fee includes attendance at IBRC from 4-8 August 2025, including all symposia and workshops, the Welcome Mixer on Sunday 3 August, the Mentor Lunch (timing TBD), and the Gala Dinner on Friday 8 August. Attendees will also be able to interact virtually through the IBRC virtual community three months prior to and after the conference. We are offering an earlybird price until 31 May 2025.
Standard registration
The standard registration fee includes attendance at IBRC from 4-8 August 2025, including all symposia and workshops, the Welcome Mixer on Sunday 3 August, the Mentor Lunch (timing TBD), and the Gala Dinner on Friday 8 August. Attendees will also be able to interact virtually through the IBRC virtual community three months prior to and after the conference. We are offering an earlybird price until 31 May 2025.
One-day registration
The one-day registration includes attendance on any one day of the conference between 4-8 August and access to the IBRC virtual community three months prior to and after the conference. Attendees will be asked to specify the day that they would like to attend the conference, during the registration process. Attendees can also choose to defer selecting their attendance day until the full program has been released. The one-day registration does not include the Welcome Mixer nor the Gala Dinner, but tickets to these events can be purchased for an additional cost.
Online Community Only
This Online Community Only registration type provides access to the IBRC virtual community for attendees who are not able to travel to Cairns, Australia. Through this registration, attendees will be able to network online with all conference attendees three month prior to and after the conference, join community discussions, watch the recorded plenaries from each day, and interact with virtual sponsor booths.

Refund Policy
Full refunds for registration will be provided before 30 June 2025, with 50% refund until 14 July 2025. Refunds for social events and field trips will be assessed based on our ability to fill vacated spots. No refunds will be provided after the 14 July 2025.
