INVITATION TO CONFERENCE SPONSORS
The Australasian Bat Society Inc. and the Pacific Bat Conservation Network are proud to announce that the 20th International Bat Research Conference (IBRC 2025) will be held in Cairns (Queensland, Australia) from 3 to 8 August 2025.
The conference will include an exciting program of talks, posters and workshops on a wide range of bat-related topics, presented by researchers, conservationists and other bat enthusiasts from around the world. The formal conference program, coupled with an invigorating mix of social events, field trips, and informal discussions, will captivate and inform 400 conference delegates over the five-day conference and associated welcome function (3 August) and post-conference field trips.
Cairns is a vibrant and relaxed city that takes pride in its cultural heritage and blends a laid-back tropical sensibility with a buzzing multicultural lifestyle. Nestled between the World Heritage Areas of the Wet Tropics Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, it is Australia’s premier tropical destination for travellers in search of great wildlife experiences.
The conference will be hosted at the Cairns Convention Centre, a world-class, centrally located venue located within easy walking distance of a great variety of foraging sites (restaurants), watering holes (bars), and roost sites (accommodation options), and a 10-minute drive from Cairns Airport. IBRC 2025 will also have a virtual community on the Whova platform, allowing attendees to network for 3-months prior to and after the event.
The conference provides an ideal opportunity for you to promote your organisation and/or products to an attentive and motivated audience, whilst supporting the advancement of bat research and/or conservation. We have a range of sponsorship packages that cover a wide range of budgets and needs or if you prefer to sponsor the conference under a different arrangement, then we would be more than happy to discuss your requirements.
